DESCRIPTION:The Committee on Business & Economic Development will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation: \n\nBill 25-0619\, the “Clean Hands Certification Economic Expansion and Revitalization Amendment Act of 2023”\nBill 25-0658\, the “Housing in Downtown Tax Abatement Technical Amendment Act of 2024”\nProposed Resolution 25-0804\, the “American Association of Colleges and Universities\, Revenue Bonds Project Approval Resolution of 2024”\nProposed Resolution 25-0805\, the “Jubilee Housing\, Inc. – The Maycroft\, Revenue Bonds Project Approval Resolution of 2024”\nBill 25-0488\, the “Mount Vernon/Eastern Market/Barracks Row Great Streets Neighborhood Retail Priority Amendment Act of 2023”\n\nThe Committee invites the public to testify\, in-person or virtually\, and to submit written testimony. Those who wish to testify must register using the Council’s Hearing Management System at https://lims.dccouncil.gov/hearings by 5:00 p.m. on Monday\, June 17\, 2024. All public witnesses will be allowed a maximum of three minutes to testify.
