DESCRIPTION:The Committee on Business & Economic Development will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation: \n\nB22-161\, the “Medical Marijuana Certified Business Enterprise Preference Amendment Act of 2017”\nB22-537\, the “Omnibus Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Amendment Act of 2017”\nB22-585\, the “Business Improvement Districts Tax Exemption Amendment Act 2017”\nPR22-694\, the “Revised ABRA Civil Penalty Schedule Resolution of 2017”\n\nThe Committee invites the public to testify or to submit written testimony. Anyone wishing to testify at the hearing should contact the Committee on Business and Economic Development via email at cautrey@dccouncil.us or at (202) 724-8053\, and provide their name\,  telephone number\, organizational affiliation\, and title (if any)\, by close of business Monday\, February 5th. Representatives of organizations will be allowed a maximum of five minutes for oral· testimony\, and individuals will be allowed a maximum of three minutes.  Witnesses are encouraged to bring twenty single-sided copies of their written testimony and\, if possible\, also submit a copy of their testimony electronically in advance to cautrey@dccouncil.us.
