Finance & Revenue Public Hearing

The Committee on Finance & Revenue will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation:

• Bill 22-42, the “First Responder Income Tax Exclusion Amendment Act of 2017”
• Bill 22-43, the “East End Commercial Real Property Tax Rate Reduction Amendment Act of 2017”
• Bill 22-202, the “East End Grocery and Retail Incentive Program Tax Abatement Act of 2017”
• Bill 22-218, the “Relieve High Unemployment Tax Incentives Act of 2017”

The Committee invites the public to testify at the hearing. Those who wish to testify should contact Sarina Loy, Committee Assistant at (202) 724-8058 or sloy@dccouncil.us, and provide your name, organizational affiliation (if any), and title with the organization by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

Witnesses should bring 15 copies of their written testimony to the hearing. The Committee allows individuals 3 minutes to provide oral testimony in order to permit each witness an opportunity to be heard. Additional written statements arc encouraged and will be made part of the official record.
