COUNCIL CHAIRMAN MENDELSON TO HOLD LEGISLATIVE MEDIA BRIEFING

WHO/WHAT:

Council Chairman Phil Mendelson will hold a Media Briefing to preview the Council’s Committee of the Whole and Legislative Meetings scheduled for Tuesday February 7, 2023. The Chairman will also address the attempt by Congressional Republicans to overturn District law.

BACKGROUND:

Chairman Mendelson will hold a media briefing to discuss major actions to be taken at Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole and Legislative Meetings. The Chairman will also take any questions related to the attempt by Congressional Republicans to overturn DC laws.
