Business & Economic Development Public Hearing
The Committee on Business & Economic Development will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation:
- Bill 25-0183, the “Society for Science Real Property Tax Exemption Amendment Act of 2023”
- Bill 25-0229, the “Cost-Free Coverage for Prostate Cancer Screening Amendment Act of 2023”
- B25-0428, the “Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Real Property Tax Exemption Act of 2023”
The Committee invites the public to testify, in-person or virtually, and to submit written testimony. Those who wish to testify must register using the Council’s Hearing Management System at https://lims.dccouncil.gov/hearings by Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. All public witnesses will be allowed a maximum of three minutes to testify. At the discretion of the Chair, the length of time provided for oral testimony may be reduced or extended.
