Trayon White Sworn in as Ward 8 Councilmember

Effective August 8, 2025, Trayon White has been sworn in as Ward 8 Councilmember. His term lasts until January 2, 2029.

White won the Special Election held on July 15, 2025. That Special Election filled the vacancy created by his own expulsion by unanimous vote of the DC Council on February 4, 2025.
