The Committee on Business & Economic Development & the Committee on the Judiciary & Public Safety will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation:

• B24-0170 – “NEW STUDENT LOAN BORROWER BILL OF RIGHTS AMENDMENT ACT OF 2021”

The Committees invite the public to testify remotely or to submit written testimony. Anyone wishing to testify must sign up in advance at BusinessEconomicDevelopment@dccouncil.us, or by phone, and providing their name, phone number or e-mail address, organizational affiliation, and title (if any), by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Witnesses are encouraged to electronically submit written testimony in advance of the hearing to BusinessEconomicDevelopment@dccouncil.us. Public witnesses will participate remotely; the Committees will follow-up with witnesses with any additional instructions on how to provide testimony through a web conferencing platform.
