Business & Economic Development Public Hearing

The Committee on Business & Economic Development will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation:

• B23-0860, the “Power Line Undergrounding Program Certified Joint Venture Majority Interest Amendment Act of 2020”
• B23-0471, the “Independent Compliance Office Establishment Act of 2019”

 The Committee invites the public to testify remotely or to submit written testimony. Anyone wishing to testify must sign up in advance by contacting the Committee by e-mail at BusinessEconomicDevelopment@dccouncil.us or by phone and provide their name, phone number or e-mail, organizational affiliation, and title (if any) by 5:00 p.m. on September 11, 2020. Witnesses are encouraged to submit their testimony in writing electronically in advance to BusinessEconomicDevelopment@dccouncil.us. Public witnesses will participate remotely, and the Committee will follow-up with witnesses with additional instructions on how to provide testimony through a web conferencing platform.
