The Committee on Government Operations & Facilities and the Committee on the Judiciary & Public Safety will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation:

  • B24-446, the “Attorney General Civil Rights Enforcement Clarification Amendment Act of 2021”

The Committees invite the public to testify remotely or to submit written testimony. Witnesses are encouraged, but not required, to submit their testimony in writing electronically in advance to facilities@dccouncil.us. Witnesses will participate remotely via Zoom. The Committees will follow up with witnesses in advance of the hearing with additional instructions on how to provide testimony.

The Committee on Housing & Executive Administration will hold a Public Hearing o the following Legislation:

  • B24-0934, the “Condominium Warranty Claims Clarification Amendment Act of 2022”
  • B24-0239, the “Homeowner Association Strengthening Support Act of 2021”
  • B24-240, the “Condominium Association Strengthening Support Amendment Act of 2021”

Oral testimony will be limited to 5 minutes for those testifying on behalf of an organization and 3 minutes for those testifying on behalf of themselves.
